FEATURES

Radio automation from scheduling to Icecast delivery

FlowCast is Docker radio automation software for operators who want an authenticated, self-hosted control plane and an explicit automated playout path.

Station control

Authenticated station controls, configuration, Now Playing and upcoming-track information.

Media and playlists

Import and catalogue operator-owned media, then create and organise playlists.

Scheduling

Scheduled programming with playlist rules and BPM-aware selection.

Audio analysis

Analysis supplies tempo information used by the Community scheduling path.

Transitions

Configure fade-in, fade-out, overlap, bridges, track exits, queues and prefetch.

Playout engine

A dedicated Rust engine runs automated radio playout from explicit FlowCast configuration.

Icecast delivery

Versioned services deliver the configured station stream through Icecast.

History and supervision

Inspect engine history, runtime state, service health, logs and diagnostics.

Backup and operations

Repository scripts cover diagnosis, backup, restore, update and rollback.

Optional Pro capabilities

Separately licensed capabilities may include documented Bliss acoustic similarity and advanced programming strategies.

A connected system

Media, playlists, radio scheduling software, analysis, transitions and delivery share one station model. That integration is the core design choice—not a claim that FlowCast fits every broadcast workflow.

FlowCast is currently a Preview. Public OCI images may not exist for every tag or architecture, and endurance, rootless Docker, large-library and disaster-recovery qualification remain incomplete.
